Basics for Board Members.
Vol. I: An Overview of Fundraising;
Facets of Fundraising.
Vol. I: How to Write a Winning Foundation Proposal
(Each video is 22 minutes
in length)
These two videos are the first in a projected 15-part series covering
the management of nonprofit organizations. Jeanne Sigler, a veteran nonprofit fundraising consultant with an impressive list of clients,
has launched her video library to help staff and board members learn how to raise funds more effectively. All information is presented by
Sigler, with titles summarizing most of the key points. Facets of Fundraising
offers step-by-step suggestions for turning a program idea into a successful
proposal and matching the organization’s financial and program needs
with a foundation’s priorities. Basics for Board Members explains why it is essential for
board members to give and get funds, offers an overview
of various types of fundraising activities, and presents
techniques on how to ask others to give.
