A seasoned professional in fundraising and development, Jennifer
Ott has an impressive 20 years of experience with a variety of major nonprofits
in New York City. Most recently, she held the position of Vice
President of External Relations at City Harvest. Before that, she
led the fundraising effort at the Hospital for Special Surgery as its
Director of Development, and prior to that she was Director of Capital
Campaigns for the YMCA of Greater New York during its $50 million Capital
Campaign. She has also held leadership positions at the Citizens
Committee for New York City; Friends and Relatives of Institutionalized
Aged, Inc. and Literacy Volunteers of America.
In all, she has secured over $200 million through annual
fundraising and capital campaigns. Her impressive achievements
are built on strategic planning, successful recruitment and
development of campaign leadership, and her ability to train
volunteers, staff and Board members to cultivate and solicit
major donors. Ms. Ott also has extensive experience
supervising large staffs, creating and managing multi-million
dollar budgets, and reorganizing internal structures for
greater efficiency and productivity.
She began her work with “Interim Solutions” at
Jeanne Sigler & Associates, Inc. as a Senior Associate
leading a major interim staffing effort for Women’s
World Banking, a key global player in the field of microfinance.
Ms. Ott went to Barnard College, majoring in Political Science. |
