A seasoned professional in fundraising and development, Jennifer Ott has an impressive 20 years of experience with a variety of major nonprofits in New York City.  Most recently, she held the position of Vice President of External Relations at City Harvest.  Before that, she led the fundraising effort at the Hospital for Special Surgery as its Director of Development, and prior to that she was Director of Capital Campaigns for the YMCA of Greater New York during its $50 million Capital Campaign.  She has also held leadership positions at the Citizens Committee for New York City; Friends and Relatives of Institutionalized Aged, Inc. and Literacy Volunteers of America.

In all, she has secured over $200 million through annual fundraising and capital campaigns.  Her impressive achievements are built on strategic planning, successful recruitment and development of campaign leadership, and her ability to train volunteers, staff and Board members to cultivate and solicit major donors.  Ms. Ott also has extensive experience supervising large staffs, creating and managing multi-million dollar budgets, and reorganizing internal structures for greater efficiency and productivity.

She began her work with “Interim Solutions” at Jeanne Sigler & Associates, Inc. as a Senior Associate leading a major interim staffing effort for Women’s World Banking, a key global player in the field of microfinance.

Ms. Ott went to Barnard College, majoring in Political Science.
