A talented fundraising professional with over 10 years of non-profit experience, Ms. Barham was most recently Director of Development at Columbia University’s acclaimed Mailman School of Public Health, where she was later retained as a consultant.  Earlier, she served in two key capital campaign positions at the YMCA of Greater New York, first as Director of its Branch Capital Campaigns and then as the overall Capital Campaign Director.

Her expertise includes designing and implementing structured fundraising strategies tailored to major donors, corporations and foundations.  She has overseen complex efforts requiring careful coordination, trained and developed Board members and leadership groups, planned and executed cultivation events, and conducted and supervised feasibility studies.  Ms. Barham’s other initiatives include developing and implementing plans to create giving traditions for alumni and mobilizing advisory boards to continue cultivation practices.  Her leadership extends to volunteer work as a Board Member of Fresh Youth Initiatives, a mentor for Student/Sponsor Partnership, and an organizer for US-El Salvador Sister Cities Project.

Ms. Barham holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management degree from the Robert J. Milano Graduate School of Management and Urban Policy at the New School University.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Hispanic Studies from Northwestern University. She is fluent in Spanish.
